Can I re-sharpen my blade?

Yes. All Vallee sawmill blades can be re-sharpened multiple times with a bandsaw blade sharpener. For the best results, we recommend using a proper sharpening system such as the Sharp Box or contacting a local sharpening service.

What oil goes in my motor?

Oil type depends on the engine model installed on your sawmill. Refer to the engine manufacturer’s manual (Honda, Briggs & Stratton, etc.) included with your machine. You can also ask your dealer for the recommended oil spec for your specific motor.

What blade goes on my sawmill?

Each Vallee sawmill uses a specific blade size designed for optimal performance. You’ll find the correct blade size and model in your product manual. If you’re unsure, your dealer can also confirm which blade is compatible with your machine.
