Any problem resulting from a manufacturing defect of the sawmill is also guaranteed for 3 years.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The warranty is in effect from the date you take possession of your portable sawmill.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The warranty excludes wearing parts such as the blade, belts, bearings, brake, etc.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by the negligence of the sawmill. Parts broken as a result of misuse or use not recommended by the user&#8217;s manual are not covered by this warranty.<\/span><\/p><h4>\u00a0<\/h4><p><b>RED RUNNER PRODUCTS<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hydraulic components, connectors, welds, paint, electrical components, chassis and related components are guaranteed for 1 year<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any problem resulting from a manufacturing or assembly defect of the machine is guaranteed for 1 year.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The warranty is in effect from the date you take possession of your machine.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The warranty excludes wearing parts such as the blade, belts, bearings, etc.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by negligence. Parts broken as a result of misuse or use not recommended by the user&#8217;s manual are not covered by this warranty.<\/span><\/p><h4>\u00a0<\/h4><p><b>ACCESSORIES<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Accessories and other optional equipment are guaranteed for 1 year excluding wear parts.<\/span><\/p><p><b>COMMERCIAL USE<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If your machine is purchased in the name of a business, even for tax purposes, it will automatically be subject to the commercial use warranty.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The warranty for commercial use is defined by a number of years and total working hours.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For Vallee Portable Sawmills\u00ae, the warranty is 100 hours or 3 years.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For Red Runner\u00ae products, the warranty is 50 hours or 1 year.<\/span><\/p><h4>\u00a0<\/h4><p><b>DEMONSTRATOR UNIT<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vall\u00e9e \u00c9quipement Forestier\u00ae does not provide a warranty for this type of product.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The legal warranty offered on the purchase of a machine marked &#8220;demonstrator&#8221; is at the discretion of the dealer making the sale. It is the responsibility of the dealer to determine the applicable warranty in this case based on the age and hours of the machine. A warranty agreement must be signed by the buyer and seller at the time of purchase.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vallee Forestry Equipment\u00ae is not responsible for warranty claims on machines marked &#8220;demonstrator&#8221;.<\/span><\/p><h4>\u00a0<\/h4><p><b>CLAIMS<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When a machine needs warranty work, Vallee Forestry Equipment\u00ae will provide the repair service and\/or replacement parts at no charge to the owner of the machine. It is important to note that the replacement part will be shipped free of charge to the customer&#8217;s dealer of record, i.e. where the machine was originally purchased. It is therefore the customer&#8217;s responsibility to transport the machine or the defective part to his dealer. If the customer asks to have the part delivered directly to his home, delivery charges will be applied.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vallee Forestry Equipment\u00ae reserves the right to choose the carrier that will be responsible for shipping replacement parts and\/or equipment. Any request for priority shipping will be granted if possible, at an additional cost to the customer.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All warranty claims must be documented with pictures and videos as well as the defective part itself, so that Vallee Forestry Equipment\u00ae can analyze the failure and proceed with the claim.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by negligence. Parts broken as a result of misuse or use not recommended by the user&#8217;s manual are not covered by this warranty.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The following are some items (but not limited to) that will require maintenance by the customer. These parts are not covered by this warranty for normal wear and tear:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">belts<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">bearings<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">blades<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">hoses and cables<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">drive gears<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">clutch<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">chainsaw chains<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">chainsaw bar<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">engine coupling<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">suspension<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">wheels and tires<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">etc.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vallee Forestry Equipment\u00ae is committed to doing everything in its power to maintain a minimum inventory of replacement parts. Exceptionally, it may be necessary to order parts from external suppliers. However, Vallee Forestry Equipment\u00ae is not responsible for any damages (monetary, material, contractual, etc.) caused by the unavailability or delay in shipping replacement parts. Vallee Forestry Equipment\u00ae shall not be liable for any loss, damage or incidental expense, resulting directly or indirectly from product failure, whether the claim is based on breach of contract, breach of warranty, negligence or any other legal theory. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Vallee Forestry Equipment\u00ae expressly disclaims any damages related to loss of profits, business, revenue or goodwill; any expense or loss incurred for labor, supplies, replacement machinery or rental; or any other type of property or financial damage.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In no event shall Vallee Forestry Equipment\u00ae be liable for death, personal injury, property damage or any other damages resulting from the use of its products.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vallee Forestry Equipment\u00ae reserves the right to make the final decision regarding warranty eligibility.<\/span><\/p><h4>\u00a0<\/h4><p><b>CANCELLATION OF THE WARRANTY<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any unauthorized modifications to the machine will render the warranty completely null and void. Modifications include, but are not limited to, welding, engine modification, pump and\/or hydraulic system modification, etc.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The warranty is also null and void if the user does not follow the instructions in the user&#8217;s manual and the product&#8217;s maintenance schedule.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any attempt to bypass or modify the time counter will immediately void the warranty.<\/span><\/p><p><b>ENGINE WARRANTY<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A 1-year warranty is offered by the manufacturers of Kohler\u00ae and Lifan\u00ae engines.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For Honda\u00ae and Vanguard\u00ae (Briggs and Stratton\u00ae) engines intended for personal use, the manufacturers provide a 3-year warranty.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In all cases, the engine warranty is applied directly by the engine manufacturer. Any service, repairs or claims associated with the engine warranty must be performed by the manufacturer or a manufacturer&#8217;s authorized shop.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A dated and signed proof of purchase will be required for any warranty claim. In addition, the manufacturer&#8217;s serial number must be included on your original proof of purchase.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vallee Forestry Equipment\u00ae is not responsible for warranty claims on engines or any related components.
